When Grant was about 1 month I finally found a moment between unpacking and entertaining the other three kids to take some pictures of our sweet boy. With some of the other kids I have taken newborn pics with multiple backgrounds and props, but sometimes when life gets crazy you just do what you can. And with Grant, a photo shoot with one background and one prop is about all I could manage. I am honestly surprised I was able to get this many pictures. I know most of the pictures are very similar and not super creative, but I love them anyway. Isn't he just the sweetest thing? He is one cute little monkey.

Grant Nathan Snow
Well, our family underwent a few changes a little over 2 months ago. We welcomed Grant Nathan Snow into our home. Grant is probably my easiest baby thus far. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will continue. He is such an easy going little guy, which is a very good quality if you are a 4th child and your family decides to move 2 weeks after you are born. His delivery was the easiest one yet, and he was by far my smallest baby weighing only 7lbs 5oz. He looks very much like the Snow side of the family he has the dark Snow complexion and of course was blessed with the amazing Snow eye lashes. The kids all love him to pieces and are always wanting to hold him. Lily was very uncertain of Grant at first. It took some persuading in the hospital to get her to even sit by Nate when he was holding Grant. She did eventually sit by Nate and he persuaded her to just touch Grant's little toe. Also when the kids came to visit at the hospital Grant opened his eyes and the kids got so excited they all scrambled over to Nate so they could see their little brother awake, their excitement was very sweet. It is an amazing blessing to have another baby in our home. Perhaps it is because it was a little longer journey than planned to get him here or perhaps it is because I am older and appreciate it more, but a new little life is such a miracle! Having four kids is a new level of craziness for me. Having a fourth while moving and while all the kids are out of school has been challenging, but I really am appreciating and enjoying Grant more than I have some of my other baby's. I wish I had had the wisdom to sit back and enjoy this stage a little more with my older kids. We sure love our little Grant and our enjoying having him in our home.

Lincoln can ride on 2 wheels!
Lincoln has been asking Nate for weeks to take off his training wheels. We really didn't think he was ready, but he surprised us and took off on 2 wheels almost immediately. Nate took the kids over to the high school parking lot so Lincoln would have a lot of room to practice his new bike riding skills. Way to go Lincoln!
Lily is 3
Our baby girl turned three! Lily wanted a rainbow cake for her birthday, and with my sisters help it turned out pretty cute. Lily is very fun and full of energy! She really keeps us on our toes. We sure love our little girl.

We Love Our Moms!
Our family has been SO blessed with many mothers. It was great last week to reflect on how
precious those mothers are in our lives. God bless our mothers.

Easter 2013 Eggstravaganza
I am a little bit ashamed to admit this but my kids went to 4 Easter egg hunts this year. We went to the neighborhood hunt, Patterson egg hunt, Grandma egg hunt, and Easter morning egg hunt. This really isn't typical for us, but the kids definitely weren't complaining. We also continued our tradition of dyeing Easter eggs. Coloring eggs always gives Nate a lot of anxiety. He lives in fear that the kids are going to spill the dye every where, but for the 6 years or so we have been doing this activity with kids we have yet to have any spills. The kids always enjoy dying eggs and put a lot of effort into making the ugliest egg, we had quite a few grey eggs this year. On Easter morning the Easter bunny left the kids a chocolate bunny, a small toy, and quite a few books (apparently the Easter Bunny wants to encourage reading). We attend church on Easter at my aunts ward to hear my cousin give his farewell talk for his mission. He did an excellent job! He is going to be a great missionary! We spent the rest of Easter spending time with my family. Since everyone was in town I hosted a very low key Easter dinner for my family. It was a great weekend!
Spring Break 2013
Our Spring Break this year was very low key, which I feel like happens every year. It seems like every year during spring break that the kids are sick or something happens to make it a very uneventful break. This year I was 7 months pregnant during the break, so low key is what we did for spring break, again. Maybe, one year we will get really wild and go on an exotic trip to Utah or something over spring break. Anyway, even in my current state I did manage to get the kids out for a few activities over the break. We went to the zoo, the golden park (that's what my kids call it, the play equipment is mustard yellow), and Lily attended a princess party with her girl cousins. Other than that, we mostly did stuff around the house. Which, if I am honest sometimes it is nice to have nothing going on. We stayed in our pj's till at least 10 o'clock, did chores everyday (I wanted to prep the kids for summer) had a movie night, played some games and just puttered around our house. It wasn't anything wild and crazy but it was good family time.
