Chunka Chunka burning love

I don't know why, but Lincoln has ended up with many nick names. He gets called Linc, Lincster, Lincmeister, Squirms, and my personal favorite: "Chunka Chunka Buring Love." I titled my blog this because as Lincolns stats from his 4 month check up show he is one fat baby. Here are Lincolns numbers : 17 1/2 lbs (93%) and 25 3/4 inches long (75%). He definitely is wider than he is long. I also thought I would include in this blog some of Lincolns favorite things, because although he is only 4 months the kid definitely has preferences.

Lincoln loves to be up and looking around. He loves to bounce around in his saucer and will be content to play in it for quite a while if someone is nearby to keep him company.

Lincoln loves to suck on his fingers. I have tried to break him of the habit because I figure it's easier to get rid of a pacifier than fingers, but the darn kid will likely spit out the pacifier in favor of his favorite two fingers.

This is a kid who loves to bathe. This is a big relief because Carson cried through most of his baths at this same age. Lincoln on the other hand, calms down instantly in the bath and just sits back and enjoys the ride.

I am going to say that Lincoln likes his sleep. Thus the back of his head is extremely flat. The kid is a good sleeper and if he goes too long without his rest his wrath comes out and he lets you know that it is nap time.

Lincoln loves his brother. At the risk of being extremely cheesy it just warms my heart to see the two of them together. Even at this young age Lincoln is captivated by his brother. Carson can make Lincoln smile or laugh almost quicker than anyone else (I'm the exception), but it is just so fun to see the two of them interact together.

Elephant Explanation

If you have viewed our blog within the last few days, you probably left a little confused, a little scared, and a little uncertain about the sanity of the Snows. Well, due to the necessary events that have taken place, we can now provide an explanation of our previous elephant posting.

NATE'S SIDE OF THE STORY: Two of Nate's sisters (Camie and Stefanie) each inherited a wooden elephant from their grandfather when Nate was on his mission. He wanted those elephants long before they even knew they existed, but his sisters "stabbed him in his back" (Nate's terminology) when he was serving the Lord and tricked their grandpa to give them his elephants. So, for the past 9 years Nate has been trying to steal those elephants from his sisters every chance he could. He even offered to buy them at one point, but they refused to sell them because they enjoyed having something he wanted. Finally, during our last trip to Utah, Nate successfully stole one of the elephants from Stephanie without her knowledge. The previous blog posting was Nate's warped way of advertising to his sisters his victory. Stefanie was recently informed through the power of the Snow grapevine about our blog posting, and the glory of the victory has settled upon our home.
